Now gather once more, for there's more yet to tell,
Of a
ghost kind untethered from its final death knell.
It is whispered in
shadow and in corners of
lore,
Of a
spirit which lingers for
love,
evermore.
This fourth kind of ghost does not care where they died,
Nor care for the
home that they once lived inside.
They guard not their
grave, nor their burial mound,
But near somebody cherished, this ghost will be found.
For
love, you must know, holds a
power so vast,
That even in death, it has not fully passed.
And so this rare spirit, with
passion so strong,
Remains with their love through their days, right or wrong.
No matter the
distance, or how many the
years,
They follow their
heart through its
laughter and
tears.
Invisible hands brush a
cheek in night's
dark,
Or soft words are whispered to light a lost
spark.
Some say this is why one may feel unalone,
Whilst sitting in silence, in thought, on one's own.
For love is a
tether that no
time can unwind,
So with one, this fourth kind of ghost stays, for all time.
