Timperley is a village on the outskirts of Altrincham, seven miles from Manchester, in the North West of England.

Unlike Manhattan, Paris or Rome, it is basically one main road that runs through a number of neighbourhoods.

Attractions:

Convenient Metrolink for commuters, easy access on motorways into Manchester city centre. The airport is close by too.

The locals go on about their unassuming way, having fĂȘtes and coffee mornings. They are generally a peaceful bunch, but don't wear any sort of pumpkin shaped cardboard headgear or they will try to kill you.

You take the A560 towards Stockport, after approximately one mile at Thorley Lane lights, turn left onto Stockport Road (the B5165) to Timperley Village.

If you were heading from Altrincham, I would advise you get the Number 11 bus.
