"Tum and Phul" are a pair of ficticious Kiwi radio personalities that made regular appearences in sketches on the Martin Molloy radio show. For those not familiar with the New Zealand accent, that's "Tim and Phil". Of course, alot of the humour in these sketches involve their strong accents - hearing familiar word and phrases pronounced with shortened vowels. Childish I guess, but that sort of stuff is the core of the Australian/New Zealand relationship ;)
