Literally 'I have come into being', this term is encountered in the anciet Egyptian Tale of Two Brothers, which tells how the god Set undergoes a series of metamorphoses (Xeperu) that change him from a farmhand to a star in the Constellation of the Thigh. Xeper is identified as the Holy Word of the Aeon of Set by The Temple of Set, a group of occult practitioners who would like to follow their patron deity's example. The Temple of Set is an offshoot of Anton Szandor LaVey's Church of Satan.
