exist. A
term typically applied to
inanimate objects; living
beings are said to
kill themselves or
commit suicide if they're
sentient.
Objects intended to self-destruct are often equipped with a self-destruct mechanism by which it is clearly established that the object is intended to be capable of self-destructing. Nodes do not have such a clear mechanism.
