A hype that started in the 90s. People started racing on regular streets. It began with small, harmless racing games on industrial sites. But in time the races could also be found in cities and on highways. Cars attending these street-races are often adjusted and can reach very high speeds (up to 125 mph)

No need to say these races are extremely dangerous, not only for the racers themselves, but also for everyone who happens to be in the neighbourhood...

A new form of street-races became popular quite recently: the so-called "Pit stop".
