Speaking about yourself in such a way as to give the impression that you are capable of particular tasks and achievements. Not everybody who talks the talk is remotely competent in their chosen pseudo-vocation, however. People who throw buzzwords around like monkeys throw feces and yet have no interest in the actual concepts which underly them are talking the talk, but are not walking the walk.
