The first game by
Squaresoft to be developed for
Playstation 2. It was released
March 6, 2001.
The game, set in a futuristic urban society, covers the story of three bouncers at a
bar. They protect a young girl, Dominique Cross, who is a refugee from the seemingly
evil Mikado Corporation. When Mikado sends it's elite forces to reclaim her, trashing
the bar, the bouncers head out on the trail to recover Dominique.
Hailed by many as having the most advanced graphics seen yet on the console system, with
possible rivals including Zone of the Enders (Z.O.E.). The life-like anime characters
have to be seen to be believed.
The gameplay is reminiscient of plot-based fighting games like the original Double
Dragon for NES.
