Everything is not a Thesaurus, but the Highly Selective Thesaurus For The Extraordinarily Literate is.

Written by Eugene Ehrlich, this thesaurus is the companion work to The Highly Selective Dictionary For The Extraordinarily Literate. Although it is by no means a comprehensive thesaurus, it does contain synonyms for a number of words which would be used by the highly literate.

A few random examples:

  • paraphernalia - n. accounterments, appointments, appurtenances, trappings
  • deathblow - n. coup de grâce, quietus
  • evil averting - apotropaic
