Short for "Geoff and Dave's Audio Mixer", an open-source program for Linux (actually, it probably works on quite a few the unices, since it's open source) hosted by SourceForge. It's a cool little program for DJ'ing (mixing) with mp3's on your computer. You could go out and buy a set of turntables but this program is great if you're currently only doing it as a hobby. Some of its features are a bunch of filters, assisted beat-matching, a semi-useful sequencer, and hardware-binding (MIDI, mostly) capability. Its website is http://gdam.sourceforge.net
