trilogy of
plays by the
ancient Greek tragedian Aeschylus. The three plays are entitled "
Agamemnon", "
The Libation Bearers", and "
The Eumenides".
They deal with many ideas, such as sin, guilt, justification, family, gender, and, (of course), the gods.
