Part of a campaign in the 1980s when
McDonald's attempted to attract adults with their extended hours. Mac Tonight Moon, (Whose name came from
Mack the Knife) was a man with a crescent moon for a head. Mac's favorite music was
jazz, and sported cool dark sunglasses. He was occasionally spotted riding his jet-ski, flying his plane over McDonaldland, or driving his convertible to his favorite late-night hang-out under the Golden Arches. McDonald's also had a couple of
Happy Meal toys for him. The scary thing is I still remember his commericals as a kid...
