Somewhat to be confused with a 3D program, but not to be confused with the wrapping (other than maybe their all wraped together). A 3D package is a term applied to either a program, or group of programs that are included together, and provide more than one if not all of the following functionalities:
To add
unnecessary confusion a component of one of these packages that can be
acquired separately, are often called them selves a package. Such as a rendering package, modeling package, (packages that adds
extra functionality to both the renderer and
scene editor, such as) volumetric packages, and environment packages, and of course lastly
content packages (a fancy word for
clipart) such as texture libraries, and
model libraries. Once again to obfuscate the point these packages can be included within a 3D package and considered a
unique package onto them selves.
