Pronunciation Artifact Syndrome occurs when textual communication meets interpersonal communication. Words that can have multiple pronunciations tend to have each and every pronunciation used at one time or another - unless a standard has been set by an authority. Can be observed at any place where internet users are likely to gather, or in a business environment where buzzwords may have multiple pronunciations.
