Carol Higgins Clark's greatest
claim to fame, and her biggest
stepping-stone to fame is the fact that she is the daughter of
acclaimed writer of
suspense novels Mary Higgins Clark. Carol calls herself a writer and an
actress. Indeed, she has appeared in a variety of productions on television, in
films and on
stage. Not surprisingly, her big break in the acting world was a
starring role in the 1992 television
movie "A Cry in the Night," based on her mommy's novel.
Carol Higgins Clark's main and repeating character in her books is Regan Reilly, a spunky detective who always gets her man.
She was born in 1956 and graduated from Mount Holyoake College and, as of 2001, lived in New York City.
