In itself, the Hitmen wasn't the most interesting of the New Wave bands of the early 80s and their two LPs ("
Aim for the Feet" and "
Torn Together") got a luke-warm reception at best.
More interesting are the careers of a few of the band members after the Hitmen disbanded some time in 1982. Ben Watkins went on to form The Flowerpot Men and later Juno Reactor; Pete Gleinster was later found in Terence Trent D'Arby's band and Alan Wilder ended up in Depeche Mode and eventually Recoil.
