Unfortunately, The Cranberries are no longer a group due to the sudden and unexpected death of their lead singer.
Dolores Mary O'Riordan Burton
(Vocals, Electric & Acoustic Guitars, Keyboards)
Born 06 September 1971
Died 15 January 2018
The cause of death was listed as "accidental drowning" due to too much alcohol. She drowned at a hotel she was staying in at the age of 46. When she drowned the coroner noted she had four times the blood alcohol legal driving limit in her system. The hotel was the Hilton on Park Lane in Mayfair, UK. Dolores had consumed enough alcohol to cause alcohol intoxication, wherein she sank under the water in her bathtub and drowned.
