Some stuff about me:

I completed a BS in nutrition science at Purdue University in May 2003. I have been a witch (in the new sense of the word of course) for over 10 years. I dabble in just about everything scientific or artisitic; call me crazy but I LOVE chemistry. On the other hand I don't like physics, except maybe quantum physics which is really just a more acceptable term for magic. However, I did somewhat enjoy my physics classes in the same way as I enjoyed my calculus classes: the problem-solving challenge. I worked as a biology TA during classes, and my summer job in 2002 was in a developmental biology lab, mostly dissecting chicken embryos and doing weird things to the parts. You probably don't want to know the details. Let's just say I'm now a vegetarian.

My goal in life is to be a village wise woman. (Fortunately, French for midwife is sage-femme, which translates to wise woman, so this is in fact a reasonable goal even in this day and age.

Also I like to make lists. Here are some:

Favorite stuff:
Actors: Jeff Goldblum, Ewan McGregor, Alan Rickman
Actresses: Michelle Pfeiffer, Nicole Kidman, Lisa Kudrow
TV shows: Farscape, Lexx, Black Adder, Law & Order, Iron Chef
Movies: Moulin Rouge(2001), Trainspotting, The Crow, Spaceballs, The Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert
Bands/musicians: Rush, Pink Floyd, Ceredwen, Brigid Boden, Linkin Park
Books: Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency (Douglas Adams), Practical Magic (Alice Hoffman), Children of the Night (Mercedes Lackey)

Movies I'll never get sick of:
South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut, Galaxy Quest, The Road to Wellville, Ocean's Eleven(2001), Dogma

Most powerful movie moments (those lines or actions, however short, that just make the emotion wash over you):
NOTE: These probably make no sense unless you've seen the movie.
Cool Runnings: when the East German starts applauding
Dangerous Beauty: "I am standing."
The Princess Bride: "I want my father back, you son of a bitch."
What Dreams May Come: "No, Christy, don't give up!"

Most attractive people in the world:
male: David Bowie (even most men I know, however militantly heterosexual, admit they wouldn't kick him out of bed)
female: Xenia Seeburg, although Angie Harmon is a VERY close second

Celebrity combos I want to see:
David Boreanaz and David Duchovnyin a comedy
Sam Waterston and Gigi Edgley getting stoned together; I'm thinking a father-daughter grifting team

Choose life.
