Studio Ghibli's first film, directed by Hayao Miyazaki.
Sharing many of Princess Mononoke's themes of animism and humanity's relationship with the environment, Nausicaa is arguably Miyazaki's best film ever. Although it doesn't have Mononoke's fancy computer graphics, the story and overall look of the movie is, perhaps, superior. A truly moving tale. Maybe the best anime of all time.
