Webster1913 does this word a disservice. 'To disoppilate' is literally 'to free from obstruction', but it was used primarily in the field of medicine, where what was being opened up was specifically a person's circulation or humors. The first recorded use of this word was in 1577, and it is now well obsolete. Historically the agents of medical disoppilation have been substances such as sassafras, sulfur, and quicksilver.
