Artist: Opeth
Album: Damnation
Release: May 2003

Damnation is Opeth's 7th album. It was recorded at the same time as their previous album, Deliverance. Unlike that album, which was one of Opeth's heaviest albums in awhile, Damnation is a more mellow, melancholy album. Dropping the distortion but still keeping the acoustic guitars that seperated Opeth from the death metal crowd, the album delves deeper into the Progressive Rock genre that Opeth has been experimenting with for quite some time.

I was able to hear the album and it is quite excellent. It's definately one of their best.
