The only thing worse than cracked heels is
infected cracked heels. Don't glue the cracks together, girls - you're sealing a lot of
bacteria in there amongst lovely dead skin cells that are just perfect for them to
feast on and turn this
minor headache into a major medical drama.
If the skin on your heels is so thick it's actually cracking, the time for high street branded cosmetics is over - get yourself to a ceritified professional and get that stuff removed with a good sharp scalpel (it doesn't hurt). This will allow new layers of skin to be exposed, breathe and generally do what skin is meant to do - protect your squishy insides from all that nasty outdoors. And yeah, thereafter it would definitely be a good idea to keep heels well moisturised, to prevent them from cracking again in the first place!
