A documentary movie directed by Hannu Puttonen. Co-production of ARTE France and Finnish YLE TV2.

The movie is about Linux and the free software/open source movement in general. It starts from the earliest days of Linux and moves on to present day.

I liked the movie's approach, because it doesn't really focus on Linus Torvalds and Linux. They interviewed many other important people, including both Richard M. Stallman and Eric S. Raymond (viewpoints from both sides of the free software), and other people like Alan Cox and Theodore Ts'o.

Only one slightly unsavory jab at Microsoft, but otherwise, the movie was rather diplomatic =)

Runtime 60 minutes.
