A word coined by Fletch to describe any large American sedan. Many models by Oldsmobile, Buick, Chevrolet, Lincoln, Chrysler, and Ford in the 60s-80s were virtually indistinguishable. 'Oldsmobuick' is the useful generic term for this type of vehicle. In the 90s, these sedans became less boxy, but it is still difficult to tell one manufacturer's model from the other. Thus the term 'Oldsmobuick' still applies.

Most police cars and rental cars are Oldsmobuicks.
