An
all-girl liberal arts undergraduate school in
Claremont,
California. Founded by the people that brought you the
Scripps-Howard news service. Scripps has good
arts and
journalism programs, and isn't really well known for anything else. Women at Scripps tend to go out with
Claremont McKenna College guys more than they do with
Harvey Mudd students. Speaking as an HMC alum, I can say they do this with
good reason.
Scripps College should not be confused with the prestegeous Scripps Institute of Oceanography in San Diego.
