A search engine company (now called a portal) founded by several Stanford students, one of whom (Ben Lutch) drives a quite-famous Porsche 911 turbo, along with five or six other German cars. Competes with Yahoo, Altavista, et. al.

Amusing anecdote: when they were building the site up, all of them lived/worked out of the same suburban house in Cupertino. To support the site, they had several hundred phone lines installed (plus assorted T1, ISDN PRI, etc). Coders would come and go at all hours of the night. Vinod Khosla, the venture capitalist backing them at Kleiner Perkins, would sometimes show up in his yellow Lamborghini. Their neighbors thought they were drug dealers -- not exactly.
