Dave Raggett is currently W3C Activity Lead for voice and multimodal. He wrote the original HTML Tidy program, as well as the lesser known EzMath. He originally joined the W3C when he was sent there on assignment by HP Labs. He currently works for Openwave, yet still is on assignment for the W3C. Dave has authored the HTML+ and HTML 3.0 specs. He also developed Arena, helped to start and launch VRML, started up the IETF HTTP WG (which he chaired in its early days), and finally setting up the W3C HTML-ERB. The W3C HTML-ERB had by now evolved into several working groups, including HTML, CSS, DOM, Math, and XForms.
