Kirkcaldy is a
seaport town on the
Firth of Forth, Fife region,
Scotland. It is noted for producing,
paper,
textiles, and
whisky.
It was the birthplace of the economist
Adam Smith and the architect
Robert Adam.
Kirkcaldy's has its Micky D's, but better eats can be found at Valentes on Overton Road; the Amritsar, which is regarded as the best indian restaurant in town; Johnny's Fish Bar at Templehall; and Giovanni's at the Links Street end of the High Street.
Kirkcaldy seems to have plenty of Pubs and Clubs, but most of the locals recommend that if you want to go clubbing you should go to Edinburgh.
