Non-fiction book by Ian Fleming, (c)1957

This book tells the story of the International Diamond Security Organization, formed in 1954, disbanded in 1957. It is plainly written, compiled by Fleming in a week of interviews. Fascinating.
One of the interesting things about this book from a 21st century perspective is the matter-of-fact racism of the diamond mine owners and their employees. Early on, the narrator comments about the frequent x-rays and radioactivated diamonds with geiger counters at the turnstiles used to discorage pilferage.

"Mark you," Blaize shrugged his shoulders
philosophically,"these sort of gimmicks are most useful
against the coloured workers. Sort of White Man's Magic
{....}"
