Βια

Bia, whose name means violence, personified this concept. She was regarded as the daughter of the giant Pallas and the Styx. In the struggle between the Gods and the Giants she fought on the side of Zeus. Her sister was Nike (Victory) and her brothers, Zelus (Ardour) and Cratus (Strength) (Table 32), and together with them she was the constant companion of Zeus. She helped to tie down Prometheus in the Caucasus.
