generic standards that state the neccesity and requirements for an acceptable
quality management system
Primarily adopted in
Europe, this means of standardisation is often met sceptically by
engineers after they realize that the proccess essentially consists of paying the ISO (or an accredited equal) to give you the proper
certification.
