well,
my real problem right now is that my company just went IPO. for most people that is cause for celebration, but for me, it sucks.
you see, my company (up and comming nameless latin-american portal site) is full of really fine, fine, fin.e, (so fine) women, all of whom have really come to appreciate nice geeks like me who can write code and buy (lots of) drinks at the same time. anyhow, till today, as in most places, geek==$$$. but thanks to our successful
offering, every chic.a in the place has a phat wallet now too. mine might be a bit fatter, but well, as a socially inept, somewhat awkward guy, i depended on that "would you care for a Cosmopolitan (a very strong drink that tastes like kool-ade)?" to get their guard dow.n and my courage up. it's been gravy, but i guess things change.
