Nelson DeMille is an extremely talented author of fiction books. He usually writes suspense novels that leave you hanging on the edge of your seat right up to the last page.
Born in New York City in 1943, DeMille's first major novel was By the Rivers of Babylon. He served as an infantry officer in Vietnam with the First Cavalry Division, was awarded the Bronze Star and Air Medal by the United States Army. He also received the VC (Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry) by the Government of Vietnam.
