Excellent fuel efficiency; 2 1/2 times better than the next best Throttlebot. Adaptable to underwater, cold and hot environments. Can withstand temperatures from -150 to 180 degrees Fahrenheit.

Transformers Tech Specs
Goldbug was actually introduced to the TV cartoon at the end of "The Return of Optimus Prime" as exactly what his tech spec describes, the ever-popular Bumblebee with a new and improved body (and shinier color job). The rest of the Throttlebots didn't show up until "Rebirth", however.
