In the context of internet abbrieviations, dtf is a French shorthand used on ICQ, IRC or anywhere else where they are needed.

Seeing as I've noded en t k, I might as well node dtf. They pretty much mean the same thing, but dtf is literally "anyway" in French. It stands for "de toute façon" or you may use "de toutes façons" for the plural "anyways".

    My friends always want to play matchmaker:

    Je ne cherche pas une blonde dtf.
    I'm not looking for a girlfriend anyway.
