A wonderful piece of
electronics, the
Game Boy Camera is a
digital camera complete with
software in
cartridge form that plugs into any
Nintendo Game Boy.
Now discontinued, the gbc was originally
marketed to go with the
Game Boy Pocket, complete with matching colors (exept
silver).
The cartridge contains 1Mbits
SRAM for storing 30 4-bit images (and extra stuff), as well as its
ROM. The
user takes
photographs using a nice
game boy interface. There is also lots of extra
fun on it, like a
space arcade game and a
music sequencer.
Images from the Game Boy Camera can be printed out with the
Game Boy Printer. There is no other way to get the images out of the cartridge (bearing the
Nintendo Seal of Quality).
