Handspring is a company that produces PDAs. The company was founded in July of 1998 after Jeff Hawkins and Donna Dubinsky left Palm Computing. The history of Handspring is based greatly in the history of Palm due to the fact that Jeff Hawkins and Donna Dubinsky were greatly involved with Palm initially, with Jeff founding the company and coming up with many of the initial concepts.
Today Handspring is one of the leaders in the PDA market due to its additions to the handheld world, such as Springboard expansion modules.
