The unit of currency used in the Czech Republic, written 'Kc'.

One Czech "crown" (CZK) was worth a whopping $US 0.021/2 (May 6th 2000)

A lot of tourists who visit places outside Prague get strange looks when they hand over a 1,000 Crown note to a retailer. This is easily explained - the average monthly income for a Czech resident is a mere 4,000 Kc.

Slama:k tells me that the average income is in fact closer to 14,000 Kc, where the 4,000 is the minimum.
