The first football club of
Izmir founded in 1912. The colors are red&green.
With 11 branches, Karsiyaka Sk is the biggest club in Turkey, although they are not succesful in football they have World Champions in sailing and Turkish and League Cups in basketball.
With his rival Göztepe A.S. Karsiyaka holds the world record with 83.000 attendance on a 2nd division game in 1981.
