Badattitude is a newsgroup/mailing list for disgruntled
employees usually employed at the same company.
The list is a forum for people to vent regarding anything and
everything, related or not related, to their company -
without limitations or reservations.
In the words of Jamie Zawinski:
"The Bad Attitude newsgroup was a continuation of a
tradition started at
SGI: it was an anything-goes forum for venting. It was a place to get things off your chest in as
inappropriate and
vitriolic a way as you felt like. It was for
catharsis, and telling the
truth without fear of reprisals."
Originally the first Badattitude newsgroup
began at SGI and was later on adopted by Mosaic Communications.
