Frozen drink created by the
Holiday Isle Tiki Bar,
Islamorada,
Florida Keys. Last time I checked, it's being served
pre-made, not unlike a
slurpee, but
back in the day they were
made to order by the bartenders.
There are a number of recipes out there claiming to be authoritative. I have no idea if this one is or isn't, but it works for me.
- 7/8 oz Blackberry Brandy
- 7/8 oz Banana liqueur
- 1/2 oz Black Rum
- 1/2 oz Bacardi 151 (overproof rum)
- 5/8 oz Grenadine
- 1 oz Lime Juice
Add
ice, smash it up in a
blender, serve in a
12 oz glass, and
pretend your
charter just came in with a huge
haul of
dolphin and
kingfish.
