At
Blacksburg Transit, this 10 code is usually used according to its standard meaning; a
supervisor may radio a bus, asking its driver to meet with him/her at a
timecheck ('
72 to 1807 -- Could you 10-25 with me at Burruss after your next loop?').
It does have an alternate meaning in certain contexts, though:
SEX.
The most famous case of this was some years back, when a supervisor and significant other 'broke in' 1305 in the garage one night when they thought no one was around. If a male and female bus driver are dating, the more obnoxious members of the driver corps may be making 10-25 jokes behind their backs.
Another in my series of BT nodes.
