In the UK and Australia, a slang term meaning "that's mine"; "bags on the eggplant" means "I get the eggplant". (It has exactly the same meaning as 'dibs' does in American English). The form 'bagsies' is also used. This may come from the use of 'bag' as in 'bagging game'; when you bag (kill) an animal, it becomes your property.
In the UK, 'bags' can also mean 'a lot'. "We're in bags of trouble!", "Bags and bags of eggplant." It does not imply that any actual bags are involved. It is always used in the plural.
Also in the UK, 'bags' is sometimes used as a slang term for pants.
