Biksemad (translates to "mixyfood") is a traditional Danish dish, that is somewhat similar to Hash. It is made from leftovers as follows:
- Fry some diced onion in butter or margarine.
- Add diced/sliced potatoes and meat from yesterday (pork works well).
- If you want, you can add apples for extra goodness.
Finally, serve with fried eggs, beetroot, and ketchup on top (although the latter is blasphemy according to the elders).
