An early Fleetwood Mac song, by Peter Green. While the band excelled at Chicago Blues, even making a pilgrimage to Chess Records for a live recording, some of Green's originals tried to stretch away from straightahead 12-bar forms - e.g. "Albatross" and "Man of the World", which became early (UK) hits. This song, a modal jazz-like minor-key blues, proved useful to Santana, and it became, like Willie Bobo's "Evil Ways", a ticket into the mass marketplace beyond the Woodstock Nation.
