This is a fairly difficult vert skateboarding trick, and as its name implies, a stall. You must be proficient in the rock and roll and the vert ollie to pull this off. It also helps to know how to do a bluntslide.

As you reach the vert, but before you hit the coping, do a vert ollie and start leaning forward, but not too much because you want to get your back wheels behind the coping. Once you have your tail over the coping (make sure you are straight), bend your knees to weigh you down. Your wheels should hit the decking and your tail should be stalled on the coping. When ready to drop in again do a nollie and lean forward (now in switch). Take your foot of your nose (remember you are now in switch) and continue to lean forward.
