Common
expression among
supervillains when their
diabolical plots and/or
nefarious schemes unravel due to the
interference of pesky
do-gooders.
It is often followed by one of three possible actions on the part of said supervillian:
- Arrogantly telling the superhero(es) that "I may have underestimated you..." and that next time, the forces of good won't be so lucky. (Requires haughty evil chuckles.)
- Informing superhero(es) that, luckily, he/she has "prepared for just such an eventuality" and unleashing some kind of new robot or monster to keep heroes busy while villain makes getaway. (Requires maniacal laughter while getaway vehicle -- typically balloon, boat, or rocket-powered contraption -- pulls away from scene.)
- Hitting bumbling cronies on head with cane, shoe, or other blunt object while screaming "It's all your fault, you dimwits!" (No evil laughter; whiny voice, however, is a must.)
