Dentyne
Ice is a
sugarless gum that is meant to
freshen breath and provide one's mouth with something to do. Dentyne Ice is the kind of
gum that comes inside of its own tiny individual
hermetically sealed packets much like
aspirin or other
over the counter medicines. It comes in four
flavors:
Arctic Chill,
Peppermint,
Spearmint, and
Wintergreen. So far I have only tried
Arctic Chill, but I will have to round them all up some day soon and
conduct a
taste test for you people.
After a little research, I found out that Dentyne Ice is an Adams brand gum, and "Adams is a part of the Warner-Lambert Consumer Group and a division of Pfizer." I always assumed that they didn't just make Viagra and nifty pens emblazoned with their logo, and maybe it's just me, but it seems like chewing gum and drugs to combat erectile dysfunction shouldn't be produced by the same company. I don't know if that makes me uncomfortable or not, it's a new concept and I'm not quite sure how it sits with me. Maybe Bob Dole twisted their arm....
