This song won Best Hard Rock Performance at the 2001 Grammy Awards. Tim Commerford, the band's bassist, caused quite a spectacle at the event which ended in the entire band getting arrested. During an acceptance speech by Fred Durst, Commerford proceeded to climb a tall stage-prop. Commerford then struggled with security in an effort to stay on the prop. Fred Durst commented on Commerford: "I hope he gets his head checked real soon." If you can find some footage of it, I highly recommend watching.

This was the second track on Rage's The Battle of Los Angeles album. The music video is a parody of GAP clothing advertisements of the time and features good-looking young people singing songs to the camera.

The reference "More for Gore or the son of a drug lord" is to Al Gore, former vice president of the United States, once considered to be a front-runner for the Democratic party nomination in the Presidential election in 2000. George W. Bush was considered a front-runner for the Republican party nomination in the same election in 2000. He is the son of former US president George Bush, under whose administration the discovery was made that the CIA and other departments of the federal government supplied drugs such as crack cocaine to inner city areas.
