In Norse mythology, Gullinbrusti is the glowing, golden-bristled boar that can run over land and sea. He is Frey's mount in battle, or draws his chariot, and is an artifact made by the dwarves Sindri and Brock.
Skidbladnir sounds like more fun - it may not glow, but at least you can fold it up and put it in your pocket.
